The Queens Museum of Art is proud to kick off a series of art related, social events designed to offer the opportunity to network with artists, learn about art, purchase artwork and learn about the borough of Queens.
stART in Queens offers exciting opportunities for participants to interact with artists build an affordable collection and discover Queens. Art-related events occur on a monthly to bi-monthly basis both at the Museum and throughout the City. Some events are offered free of charge, others require a small fee.
Past events include:
- Queens Arts Party at Bohemian Beer Garden
- Portfolio Print Preview at Exit Art
- Queens International 4 Preview and Opening Party at QMA
- Dinner Date: Intimate and absorbing table-talk with a Queens International artist at local Queens restaurants
- Cocktail Reception: QMA and The Armory Show celebrate Queens at the QMA

Is it possible to submit work for an exhibition?
in 2006 I had an exhibition in Agora Galleries, Chelsea. My work is very caribbean and with all the caribbeans living in Queens I thought it might be nice.
