The Queens Museum is housed in the New York City Building, which is owned by the City of New York. With the assistance of the Queens Borough President Helen Marshall and the New York City Council, the Museum is supported in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Institute of Museum and Library Services, New York State Legislature, New York State Council on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
