ACCESSIBILITY
Wheelchair
Access
Designated
spaces are available in the parking lot for visitors with disabilities with
convenient access to the main entrance and elevator. The QMA has
ground-level entrances from the parking lot or the park.
The Museum is accessible to all visitors. Wheelchairs are available
free of charge at security desk. Ramps provide access to all gallery
spaces, including the Panorama of the City of New York. Freight elevator provides
easy access for groups of visitors touring the museum via wheelchair.

ArtAccess is a unique program of the Queens Museum of Art designed
specifically for visitors with special needs. ArtAccess reaffirms the museum's commitment to making its services accessible
to all visitors, including those with varying physical, emotional and
cognitive abilities. ArtAccess programs allow teachers and program
coordinators the flexibility to design an experience based on the needs of
the students or clients.
ArtAccess is available for special education and adult groups to accommodate
visitors with varying learning styles and expressive needs. The program
features a gallery tour and an art workshop and requires two to three hours.
