Online collection database is currently under construction. The selected checklist from the 1939/40 and 1964/65 New York World's Fairs Archive is available. Appointments can be made to view the collection.
Permanent Collection & Traveling Exhibitions Selected works from the museum's permanent collections are currently available for traveling within the US and around the world. The small to mid-size traveling exhibitions include: William Sharp's Drawings from 1930s to 1950s; selections from the New York Noir: Crime Photos from the New York Daily News; and selections from the Salvador Dali: Dream of Venus.

The 1939/40 and 1964/65 New York World's Fairs Archive The museum is housed in the 1939 New York City Building and owns over 6,000-6,500 objects which include memorabilia, photography, audio tape, video and 8mm & 16mm film. 3,700 objects have been catalogued on the collection database and approximately 1,000 ojects have been digitally photographed. The World's Fair archive is available for researchers by appointment only. Selected objects from the archive will be available for traveling in near future.
Rights and Reproduction
The applicant must sign the agreement form which will be sent by the museum upon approval of the request. Rights and Reproduction permission fees must be paid in U.S. dollers. The museum accepts personal and business checks and money order. Photographic material will be sent upon receipt of payment.
Copyright Restrictions
The museum will make every effort to inform applicants of copyrights and other restrictions that may apply to works of art to be reproduced. It is the responsibility of those who intend to publish photographic materials provided by the museum to contact and obtain proper rights permissions from the rights owner. The museum may provide contact information if available.
