Current Exhibition Tour & Art Workshop

A guided, interactive tour of the Museum’s current exhibition, with an emphasis on appreciating art both as viewer and creator. An art workshop inspired by the exhibition follows the tour.
Available for child & adult groups.
$7 per participant/$70 minimum
Panorama Tour & Art Workshop
10 am - noon
A tour of The Panorama of the City of New York, our permanent exhibition of a detailed 3-D scale model of the five boroughs, commissioned for the 1964 World’s Fair. An art workshop follows, in which we explore the ideas of architecture, community and different types of buildings.
Available for child & adult groups.
$7 per participant/$70 minimum
Tiffany Tour & Art Workshop
10 am - noon
A tour of stained glass artwork of Louis Comfort Tiffany, on longterm loan from The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass. An art workshop follows the tour, using colors and blending techniques to create a Tiffany-inspired window hanging.
Available for child & adult groups.
$7 per participant/$70 minimum
Art Workshop
10 am - noon
A multi-sensory experience that includes movement and art activities. The program is adapted to the cognitive level, age and abilities of participants. Projects include: exploring musical instruments and an array of art techniques, as well as, play and drama.
Please note that this program does not include a gallery tour.

$7 per participant/$70 minimum
Multi-Visit Series
Visiting the museum in a multi-visit series provides a more comprehensive opportunity to view and create art. On each visit, groups explore a different aspect of an exhibition and continue to work on personal artwork.
Each multi-visit series is custom designed for each group and fees vary.
Self-Guided Tour
Wednesday - Sunday, noon - 5 pm
Groups are always invited to tour the museum on their own, as long as appropriate supervision is provided for the group’s needs. Reservations are recommended.
Available for child & adult groups.
Suggested donation $2.50 per student/$5 per adult
Inclusion classes schedule trips through the General Education program, not the ArtAccess program. However, inclusion teachers are encouraged to first phone the ArtAccess educators, to allow us to provide the most successful trip for all students in your group.
