During the Queens International
exhibition, students were able to display their own artwork
in the galleries that they had created through the museum-school
partnership. The PS144Q exhibit, Call and Response, highlighted
student art work showing the many ways one responds to works of
art. Included in the process was the design and implementation of
the show, from making wall labels to photographing the exhibit.
To celebrate their accomplishment, classes and families from PS144Q
were invited to view the exhibition during their own family day,
which became the catalyst for many school and family activities.

Call & Response used lighting to spotlight
what students learned about stained glass windows. |

Call & Response featured botanical studies
done by students at PS144Q in response to the Tiffany
installation.

This collage by a PS144Q student was also on display.

Ceramic pieces were shown in Call & Response.
