OBJECTIVE
To design a stained glass lamp on the computer, in the style of lamps by Tiffany.

INTRODUCTION
The class will know what Tiffany lamps look like firsthand because of their visit to the museum. Have the class draw on that experience to design lamps in the style that Tiffany was known for.

MATERIALS
Computers with Kid Pix or similar drawing program and internet access
Color printer

Discuss class visit to Tiffany exhibit at QMA, view examples of Tiffany glass and lamp designs
Research Tiffany's life on the internet
Discuss common themes apparent in Tiffany's work
Discuss materials that Tiffany used
Use Kid Pix to draw a stained glass lamp shade and base
Write a report on Tiffany's work/life and a short paragraph explaining how Tiffany work inspired their lamp design
