Free Art Exhibition Tours Every Saturday and Sunday 2:00pm, and 3:00pm

The Museum offers hour-long tours of its temporary art exhibitions at 2:00pm and 3:00pm on weekends. Most tours are appropriate for adults and children over the age of 16.

Tours are free with admission.

Free Panorama Tours Every Saturday and Sunday at
4:00pm
Hour-long tours of the Panorama of the City of New York are held every Saturday and Sunday at 4:00pm.

Tours are free with admission.

 
 
Group Tours

Private tours of the museum’s exhibitions, both permanent and temporary offerings, are available from noon to 5:00 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays.  Permanent exhibitions include The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass, The Panorama of the City of New York, and our World’s Fair collections.  Please visit our website for information about our changing exhibitions.  Several museum exhibitions can be combined into one tour.

The fee for a one-hour tour is $100.  Free weekend tours are also available.

Free English as a Second Language

Join a teaching artist in a conversation class that uses the museum and its exhibitions as a medium for discussion.

 
 

Offsite Talks

 

Private slide talks, one hour in length, can be scheduled for groups at sites throughout New York City and beyond.  We offer lectures on subjects related to the history of New York City, The Panorama of the City of New York, Louis Comfort Tiffany, aspects of the 1939 and 1964 Worlds’ Fairs and our current exhibitions.  A transportation fee might be added depending on the location of the venue.  The museum requests that the venue provide a slide projector or a computer and projector.  Private slide talks are $250 per program.
