Project L’EDUCATION DU REGARD presents in close collaboration with Patricia Brintle (painter) and Anton Martinez (architect) a special exhibition and related programming to honor the artists and architects who passed away during the terrible earthquake that devestated Haiti on January 12, 2010. This special event will take place at the Queens Museum of Art and will feature the artworks of different schools of thought in the area of Fine Arts and Architecture showcasing the artistic achievements of major artists and architects from Haiti.

5-7pm: Cocktail Hour in the Gallery and Cultural Fair featuring  Art Books • CD’s DVD’s • Book Signing. Live musical accompaniement by : Leon Dimanche • Vocalist | Ricardo Frank • Guitar

7-8:30pm: Panel Discussion to give the audience an opportunity to get acquainted with  key developments in the reconstruction and conservation of Haiti’s architecture and institutions from public health to metropolitan transportation with: Maxime Auguste • Architect, Eddy Germain • Engineer, Eddy Rodriguez • MD, and Henry Robert Jolibois • Architect

8:30 - 9:30pm: Live Entertainment by Victor Surpris • Pianist, Jn Claude Eugene Ronyde Cayo • Guest Artist, Jesica St Vil UlysseKanu Dance Theater (New Album Release)

9:30-10pm:  Tribute Ceremony to Alix Roy, Wilson Bigaud, and Francine Murat
