On a tough South Leeds estate, the DAZL Diamonds, an all-boys cheerleading team, rehearses a new routine. Amid a flurry of pink pompoms, they practice ‘facials,’ perfect switch-ups and master the Worm in preparation for the national championships. Led by dedicated coach Ian Rodley, a group of nine sensitive kids breakdance, break down and break free-Billy Elliot-style.

Gay twins Gary and Larry have always loved Dolly Parton. They left their small town home ten years ago to make it in Hollywood and are finally ready to get their script to Dolly. In a RV named Jolene, the boys embark on the adventure of a lifetime. This road trip is also a journey of self-discovery and an attempt to resolve mommy issues that have divided them since childhood. Featuring 15 of Dolly’s classic songs and Chad Allen, Dustin Lance Black, Beth Grant, and Leslie Jordan.

The monthly program encourages discussion forums among guests and participant filmmakers in order to create a cultural cinematic hub around LGBT issues and concerns.
