#MuseumInstaSwap

In early February, the Queens Museum participated in the second ever #MuseumInstaSwap (the first being in London last year). Along with 17 other institutions, including the American Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Modern Art, the Jewish Museum, and The New Museum, we shone light on other museum collections via our own Instagram account. We were thrilled to be partnered with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and trawled their rich collection looking for connections to our own. Below you’ll see our Instagram posts of the Met’s artworks, along with those they referenced in our own collection or on display in a current exhibition.
